About Us
"Donne fra le stelle" is a voluntary association born from the desire to illustrate the wonders of the cosmos to the general public through the voice of astronauts, astrophysicists, aerospace engineers and researchers.
Through the organization of traveling symposiums throughout the Italian peninsula, with the collaboration of the most important research centers worldwide such as ASI Italian Space Agency, ESA European Space Agency, NASA National Aeronautics Space Administration, and with the partnership of the most important industries Europeans in the aerospace sector, we try to encourage young people and especially girls to choose STEM subjects in their studies.
The project aims to make women protagonists by underlining their commitment and results in the scientific field, where the male presence is still prevalent.
For these reasons linked to the future and the development of a generation of human beings increasingly projected towards space exploration, we have decided to promote this association of enthusiasts and scientists in the aerospace sector to disseminate to the general public the new scientific discoveries of science regarding the cosmos.
